Lending libraries have restrictions on what materials are available to borrow. Although there are exceptions, they are usually unwilling to lend the following materials:
- Archives
- Audio (Cassette Tapes, CD's, et cetera.)
- DVDs
- eBooks
- Maps
- Reference Books
