Lending libraries have restrictions on what materials are available to borrow via ILL. Although there are exceptions, they are usually unwilling to lend the following materials:

  • Archives
  • Audio (Cassette Tapes, CD's, et cetera.)
  • DVDs
  • eBooks
  • Maps
  • Reference Books

New books, ones published within the last 6 months, as are difficult to borrow via ILL, as lending libraries keep new items on Reserve so they are available for their local patrons.
