Yes, the library now has a Library of Things collection that students, faculty, and staff may use to check out items such as board games, kitchenware, hobby kits, fishing poles, GoPros, and much more! This collection is currently on the 3rd floor of Spiva Library behind our film collection, though some items (including the fishing poles and cameras) are located behind the Main Circulation desk.
If you wish to check out an item from the Library of Things collection, you must sign a liability waiver and agree to the borrowing policy. Most of these items may only be checked out for a week at a time, and must be returned at the Main Circulation desk on the 3rd floor of Spiva Library. Some items, such as the GoPro, Drone Kit, Canon printer, and the podcast equipment have a two-day loan period with no renewals.
